Cookie Policy

What this policy covers
This policy explains how sivogidigitalsolutions.com uses cookies and similar browser storage, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. They can remember settings or help measure how a site is used.
Local storage is a similar feature that lets a website save small pieces of information in your browser. Unlike cookies, it is not sent to the server with every request.
Some cookies are set by the website you are visiting (“first-party”); others are set by services the website uses, such as Google (“third-party”).
Our approach
When you first visit the website, a banner asks whether you accept optional cookies. Analytics and advertising tags do not load until you say yes. If you decline or ignore the banner, only strictly necessary storage is used.
Strictly necessary storage
| Name | Type | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
sivogi-consent |
Local storage | Remembers your cookie choice so the banner does not appear on every page | Until you change your choice or clear your browser storage |
This storage does not identify you and is needed to respect your choice, so it does not require consent. Our hosting and security providers may also use technical measures needed to deliver the website safely and protect it from abuse. If Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled on our forms to block spam, it runs only to check form submissions.
Analytics cookies (only with consent)
If you accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager. This helps us understand which pages are useful, how visitors find us and whether our enquiry forms work. Google Analytics sets these first-party cookies:
| Name | Set by | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics | Distinguishes one browser from another to count visitors | Up to 2 years by default |
_ga_<id> |
Google Analytics | Keeps track of the session state for our Analytics property (<id> is our property’s measurement ID) |
Up to 2 years by default |
We use this data in aggregate. We do not use Google Analytics to identify individual visitors.
Advertising cookies (only if enabled and with consent)
We do not always run advertising. If we do, and you accept advertising cookies, we may load:
- Google Ads conversion tracking, which can set cookies such as
_gcl_auto measure whether people who clicked our ads went on to send an enquiry. - Meta Pixel, which can set cookies such as
_fbpto measure the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads and, where we choose to, show our ads to people who have visited the site.
These tags are not loaded if advertising tracking is switched off on our side, or if you have not consented. Google and Meta process this data under their own privacy policies.
Changing your choice
You can change your mind at any time. Click “Cookie settings” in the website footer to reopen the cookie banner and update your choice.
If you withdraw consent, we stop loading analytics and advertising tags from that point. Cookies that were already set may remain in your browser until they expire or you delete them, as described below.
Clearing cookies and storage
Most browsers let you view and delete cookies and site data, and block cookies entirely:
- Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies or Delete browsing data.
- Firefox: Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari (Mac): Settings, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data.
- Safari (iPhone and iPad): Settings, then Safari, then Advanced, then Website Data.
- Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions, then Manage and delete cookies and site data.
Menu names change between browser versions, so check your browser’s help pages if these steps do not match exactly. Clearing site data also removes the sivogi-consent entry, so the banner will ask you again on your next visit.
Google also offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics on all websites.
Changes to this policy
If we add, remove or change the tools we use, we will update this page and, where needed, ask for your consent again. The “last updated” date shows when this policy was last revised.
