Who benefits

  • Startups and founders who need help deciding what the first version of an app should include.
  • Growing businesses whose customers or field staff need something that works better on a phone than a website.
  • Established companies with an existing web system that want a companion app connected to it.
  • International and Indian businesses whose previous app project stalled and needs to be scoped, managed and finished properly.

01 The challenge

Many app projects stall or overspend because they try to build everything at once, without a clear picture of who will use the app or why. Others launch but cannot be maintained, because the code, accounts or knowledge sit with a developer who has moved on. A good app needs careful scoping, honest platform choices and ownership that stays with your business.

02 What's included

Mobile App Development: what you get

  1. 01

    Product scoping

Workshops to define your users, the core problem and the smallest useful first version — a minimum viable product (MVP) — so you launch sooner and learn from real use.

  2. 02

    UX and interface design

User flows, wireframes and clickable prototypes you can test on a phone before development starts.

  3. 03

    Android, iOS and cross-platform builds

Native or cross-platform development chosen to fit your features, budget and long-term plans.

  4. 04

    Backend and integrations

The server, database, admin panel and connections to payments, notifications, maps or your existing systems that the app depends on.

  5. 05

    Testing and store publishing

Testing on a range of real devices, then preparing listings and submitting the app to Google Play and the Apple App Store under your accounts.

  6. 06

    Maintenance and updates

Bug fixes, operating system compatibility updates, security patches and planned feature releases after launch.

How this is delivered: Sivogi leads discovery, UX design, project management and quality assurance on every app project. For some builds, when the scope calls for specific expertise, we work with vetted specialist developers. You keep one point of contact with us throughout, and you own the source code and the app store accounts.

03 How it works

A clear process, from first call to results

  1. Discover and scope

We clarify who the app is for, what it must do first, and what can wait, then agree a written scope.

  2. Design and prototype

We design the screens and flows and share a clickable prototype for feedback before any code is written.

  3. Build and test

The app is built in stages with regular demos, and tested on real Android and iOS devices.

  4. Publish and support

We handle store submission, respond to review feedback from the stores, hand over documentation and support the app after launch.

04 In depth

Start with the right first version

Most app projects that struggle do so because they try to build everything at once. A long feature list feels safe, but it delays launch, raises cost and makes it harder to learn what users actually value. This applies as much to an established company launching a customer app as to a founder with a new idea. We begin by defining a minimum viable product (MVP) — the smallest version of the app that solves a real problem for a real group of users well.

That means asking practical questions early. Who will open this app, and how often? What must they be able to do on day one? What can be handled manually, or on a website, until the idea is proven? The answers shape a scope that is realistic to build and easy to improve.

Android, iOS or both

In India, many consumer audiences use Android phones, often mid-range models on mobile data. Some business and international audiences lean more towards iPhone. We look at who your users are and where they live before recommending a platform.

Cross-platform development

Frameworks such as Flutter and React Native let one shared codebase produce apps for both Android and iOS. For many business and consumer apps, this is a sensible way to reach both platforms with less duplicated effort.

Native development

Building separately for each platform with its own tools can suit apps that depend heavily on device hardware, complex animations or very demanding performance. It typically involves more effort, so we recommend it only where the benefits are clear.

Design you can test before it is built

Changing a design is far cheaper than changing finished code. We create user flows and a clickable prototype you can try on your own phone and share with stakeholders or a few potential users. Feedback at this stage often removes features nobody needed and reveals the ones that matter.

Apps rarely stand alone

Behind most apps sits a backend — a server, database and admin panel where your team manages users, content and orders. If you already have a web system, the app can connect to it. If not, our web apps and dashboards service can cover the backend and admin side alongside the app. Many apps also need a simple website for store listings, privacy policies and discovery; see website design and development.

How we work with specialist developers

As an app development company in Ongole working with clients across India and abroad, we lead discovery, design, project management and quality assurance ourselves. Some builds call for specific expertise, and for those we work with vetted specialist developers. You do not have to manage multiple vendors: you keep one point of contact at Sivogi, with regular demos and written progress updates that work across time zones. The source code, developer accounts and store listings are in your name, and we hand over documentation so the app can be maintained by any competent team.

After launch

Phones and operating systems change every year, and apps need updates to keep working. We offer maintenance for bug fixes, compatibility updates and security patches, and plan new features based on how people actually use the app. Setting up analytics and tracking from launch helps you see which features are used and where users drop off, so the next release is based on evidence rather than opinion.

Pricing: App costs depend on platforms, features, backend needs and integrations. Apple and Google developer account fees are paid directly to them. We quote after scoping.

FAQs

Mobile App Development: common questions

Have a different question? Ask us directly.

How long does an app take and what does it cost?

The main drivers are which platforms you need, the number of screens and features, whether the app needs its own backend and admin panel, integrations such as payments or maps, and how much design work is involved. Starting with a focused first version keeps both time and cost under control. After scoping, we give you a written plan, timeline and quote.

Should we build for Android, iOS or both?

It depends on where your users are. In India many consumer audiences are mostly on Android, while some business and international audiences lean towards iPhone. Cross-platform frameworks let one codebase serve both, which often suits a first version. We look at your audience before recommending an approach.

What is the difference between Flutter, React Native and native development?

Flutter and React Native are cross-platform frameworks that build Android and iOS apps from a shared codebase, which can reduce effort for many apps. Native development uses each platform's own tools and can suit apps that rely heavily on device features or demanding performance. Both approaches are well established; we choose based on your requirements.

Do you build every app in-house?

We lead discovery, design, project management and testing ourselves. For some builds we work with vetted specialist developers when the scope needs particular expertise. Either way, you deal with one point of contact at Sivogi, and the code and store accounts belong to you.

Can you guarantee the app will be approved by the app stores?

No one can guarantee approval, because Apple and Google review every app against their own policies. We build with those policies in mind, prepare complete store listings and privacy details, and handle any changes requested during review until the app is published or the issue is clearly explained to you.
